We spent about 3 months building out the inside of our 2006 Dodge Sprinter. That is not including the years of planning, researching, and saving up money. We had a lot of help along the way from many friends and family including: Our parents (Thimmigs and Royers), David Royer, Pat Royer, Keegan McCormick, Dave Bednarski, and a HUGE thank you to my dad, Paul Royer who helped us almost every single day and provided us with free materials, tools, and expertise. We couldn’t have done it without you!!

Back view of van. We built the bed frame out of metal studs and plywood (with the help of family and free stuff). It provides us with plenty of storage for all of our gear! We made the window covers out of warm window and some decorative fabric, it helps to keep the van insulated and block light.
We made a lightweight shelf and are using colored storage bins for clothes. You can also see our fan which is covered by a piece of gray fabric.
Our bed!
A view from the outside looking into our kitchen area.
Here is our yeti 35, a great gift from my brother David. It sits on top of our library and doubles as a seat/table. We made a cushion for the top.
To the left is our water storage kept hidden with a curtain. To the right is where we have most of our food. There is some mesh netting to keep things from falling out.
We have 3, 6 gallon water jugs, a dish bin, and a foot powered water pump.
Above the water is a pull out counter top with a removable bowl for our sink.
Lots of hooks help keep things accessible and organized.
Our seats with removable lids for storage.
We have an insulative curtain for privacy.
LED light strips with dimmers are great!
Our sliding door with curtains. Thankfully we always have Jay’s watchful eyes nearby 8D
